Harthama ibn Ayan, known as Khwaja Murad, according to some sources, was a companion of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (AS).
People gave him the title Khwaja Murad because he was a very faithful and spiritually devoted person. Haj Mohammad Ali Darvish, known as Noor Alishah, built this place in contemporary times and took care of and protected it. This building is now managed by the Khorasan Endowments and Charity Affairs Department. Also, next to the tomb of Khwaja Murad in Mashhad, there is the tomb of «Haj Mohammad Ali Sarabi», one of the contemporary dervishes of the Khorasan region who passed away in 1974 (1353 Hijri Shamsi).
