The shrine of Seyyed Abujafar Thāeri Abyad dates back to the 9th century AH and is located in the village of Miyandeh in Chaboksar County. The Imamzadeh Seyyed Ebrahim in Chaboksar is actually the same Imamzadeh Seyyed Abujafar Thāeri Abyad located in the village of Miyandeh. This monument was registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites on 4 Tir 1377 (June 25, 1998) with registration number 2052. This shrine belongs to Abolfazl (Abu Taleb) Jafar ibn Mohammad, Al-Thā'er Fi Allah, the Alawi Zaydi ruler of Housam in the first half of the 4th century AH.
He is mentioned in reputable historical books. According to Gilani, his rule over the hearts of the believers, that lover of the Ahl al-Bayt, lasted a long time until he was martyred in the same place. His pure tomb, where many miracles, healings, and problem resolutions have been witnessed, attracts many lovers from all over the country to this shrine (year of death according to one narration: 345 AH).
