Mehrgan Tomb: One of the historical and cultural monuments of Gilan Province, located in **Talesh** County (Masal), recognized as one of the tourist and historical attractions of this region.

**Access**: This tomb is situated on the lush forest road of Masal and is accessible via the main Masal-Khalkhal road.

**Age**: This tomb dates back to the **pre-Islamic period** (probably the Sassanian era or even older) and is known as a structure **related to the Mithraic religion** (Mithraism).

**Possible Use**: Some archaeologists believe this site was once a **fire temple** or a Mithraic sanctuary that was later converted into a tomb.

**Architectural Style**: It has a stone and adobe structure similar to other historical buildings in the mountainous regions of northern Iran.

Its overall design is **rectangular** with collapsed arches.

Inside, there is a small space that was probably the burial place of an important individual.

Local people believe this place belonged to a **legendary king named "Mehrgan"** who was invincible in wars.

Some also associate it with **mysticism and ancient rituals** and hold it in respect.
