The Darab Stone Mill is another historical monument of Darab County, located in the northern part of the Azarakhsh Fire Temple of this county (Stone Mosque). This stone mill consists of two large stone cylinders placed on top of a mountain and provides the water needed for the mill. The architecture of this stone structure belongs to the Sassanid era and can be considered one of the most unique types of mills in the history of Iran. According to an inscription in Kufic script located on the western side of the mill entrance, which belongs to the Atabegs, it tells of its repair and reconstruction during the Atabegs and Qajar periods, as well as its reuse during the reign of Naser al-Din Shah.
