It is said that Imamzadeh Bibi Zobeideh is a descendant of the seventh Shia Imam, Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him). According to the genealogy obtained from her in the library of Astan Quds Razavi and authored and researched by Hojjat al-Islam Falsafi, it is stated as follows:
“Bibi Zobeideh bint Yahya, the lineage of Imam Musa ibn Ja'far (peace be upon him) through this connection, this revered Imamzadeh was the granddaughter of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), and her uncle was Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and her honorable aunt was Lady Masoumeh (peace be upon her).”
It is said that when she was martyred, she was only ten years old and was martyred on the way to Mashhad along with her father at the current location and was buried here.
