The Amir Bandeh Kalachay shrine, also known as the Imamzadeh Seyyed Ahmad and Imamzadeh Seyyed Heydar, descendants of Musa Kazim (AS), is recognized as one of the registered cultural heritage sites of Gilan province. This shrine is the sacred tomb of two descendants of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) named Amir Ahmad and Amir Heydar. This Imamzadeh is located in the village of «Khanapashtan» on the western edge of the Kalachay to Rahimabad road. The Amir Bandeh shrine is a religious and historical building dating back to the Safavid era. Many martyrs and villagers have been buried in the spacious courtyard of Imamzadeh Amir Heydar and Amir Ahmad. A very peaceful, spiritual, and pristine atmosphere prevails over this historic shrine.
The main building of the shrine is very small and its outer walls are light green. Wooden columns surround the main building. The roof of this structure is tiled and sloped in the style of northern country buildings. This Imamzadeh is considered one of the most important places for holding mourning and religious ceremonies in the village. The villagers hold magnificent ceremonies at this Imamzadeh on the days of Tasua and Ashura of Hosseini.
