Description

The building of Imamzadeh Mohsen or Imamzadeh Kuh probably dates back to the 10th century. This monument was registered on 1 Farvardin 1347 as one of Iran's national heritage sites. This shrine is attributed to Mohsen ibn Ali, who is considered a descendant of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (AS) or Imam Sajjad (AS). Various sources mention the exact relationship with slight differences, but generally, he is regarded as one of the Hasani Sayyids.
