Description

The Imamzadeh Hood dates back to the Ilkhanid period and is located in Razan County, Yengi Qaleh village. This monument was registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites on February 21, 1949, with registration number 367. This historic brick structure is built in the form of a very proportionate 12-sided tower and belongs to the 8th century AH.

This Imamzadeh had a conical dome which was destroyed due to natural and unnatural disasters, and a round dome was built on top of it. The floor of the shrine is covered with wooden beams and there is a crypt underneath. The building had a beautiful appearance during its flourishing time, but only a few traces of lapis lazuli tile decorations remain.
