Bagh-e Nazar and Pars Museum
A historic garden and a remnant from the Zand era that houses an impressive mansion and was once a place to host special guests. Within this garden, there is a museum called Pars Museum, known as the oldest museum in Fars Province. The museum building is an octagonal mansion; a structure built by Karim Khan Zand in the middle of Bagh-e Nazar to properly host guests and foreign ambassadors and to provide a suitable place for official ceremonies and various celebrations.
Today, this historic garden and its building serve as a museum where you can see metal objects, pottery, various coins and seals, and other artifacts from the fourth millennium BC to the contemporary period, offering a journey through prehistoric, historic, and Islamic eras. It is worth noting that Bagh-e Nazar was called by different names in various periods based on its usage, including: Government Garden, Prince's Garden, Vakil's Tomb, and Garden Museum.
