Description

This tower, approximately 250 years old, belonged to Khanali Khan Hayat Davoodi and was the place for political decisions and the rule of the Khans.

This building is constructed in the style of Beit Milani and similar ones can be seen in the countries bordering the Persian Gulf. This two-story tower includes two sections, inner and outer, with a central courtyard. Each floor has two 5 by 5 rooms connected by a corridor. Fourteen columns support the balconies in front of the rooms. The building materials are sponge stones, which are fossils, shells, coral, and sea ear, probably brought from Khark and Kharg islands by boat. Wooden shutter curtains beautifully cover the windows, and wooden animal tails are used as decorations in the building.
