Bengale Kariki is a historic mansion related to the Qajar and Pahlavi periods. This building was registered on 7 June 2006 with registration number 15391 as one of Iran's national heritage sites. In the past, Bengale Kariki was a recreational place for the rulers of Bastak and Jahangiriyeh, including Mohammad Taghi Khan, known as Solt al-Molk. The term «Bengale» means a villa or a resort outside the city, which entered the local dialect from the Hindi language. Today, the remains of this historic mansion are located on a hill, and a spring passes beside it, creating a beautiful and poetic view.
