The Gomishan wetland is a unique area on the border of Iran and Turkmenistan that has attracted attention due to hosting various animal species. More than 80 different animal species live in this international wetland, among which flamingos and whooper swans are some of the most important. A large part of this wetland is a no-hunting zone and is protected by the Environmental Protection Organization. To visit this wetland, you need a permit from the Environmental Protection Organization. So remember to visit the Bandar Turkmen Environmental Protection Organization before visiting the Gomishan wetland.
