The Bavan area is shaped like a valley located between two high mountain ranges, which are covered with snow in winter. The length of this valley is 18 kilometers and its width is more than 7 kilometers. The Bavan valley is covered with tall, long-lived forest trees, along with numerous springs and streams and a pleasant climate that hosts many villages. In addition, many trees and gardens, including apple, pear, pomegranate, walnut, fig, and various citrus trees, cover this green valley.
The wide sub-basin and forested area upstream of this gorge have resulted in an abundance of fresh and delicious water in the Bavan valley, so that throughout the year, especially in spring, beautiful waterfalls like the Bavan waterfall flow down the rocky walls of the gorge, creating beautiful and natural landscapes.
