Chogan Gorge Kazeroon

One of the sights of Kazeroon is the carvings of Chogan Gorge, located opposite the ancient city of Bishapur.

These inscriptions include six Sassanid historical works; three reliefs related to Shapur I and the Bahramids, and three other reliefs depicting the victory of Shapur I over the Romans. Chogan Gorge was the place of the traditional Chogan game, and its large and crowded reliefs, covering an area of 30 square meters and depicting more than 30 figures, are very spectacular.
