Description

The antiquity of Gunespan Hill, one of Malayer's attractions, dates back to the third millennium BC. This hill holds many relics from before the Medes to the Qajar period. Gunespan is also known as Patapeh due to its proximity to the village of Patapeh. Unfortunately, the lower part of the ancient Gunespan (Patapeh) hill submerged after the filling of the Karim Khan Dam. It is likely that the Median hill will be completely submerged and this valuable historical site will be lost forever.
