Khalil Forest of Arsenjan

Khalil Beyg Forest is one of the tourist attractions of Arsenjan, which is also known as a wildlife protection base in Fars Province. This area is the habitat and breeding ground of the Iranian yellow deer, a rare species of this animal in the world. The trees of Khalil Beyg Forest include ancient wild pistachio, Alok, oak, wild fig, tamarisk, and tangz. Plants such as artichoke, wild mushroom, pennyroyal, wild mint, ice flower, saffron, and more grow in this area.
