Mandan Village
One of the oldest villages in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province – Kohgiluyeh County (Dehdasht - Balad Shapur) which, based on discovered archaeological findings, indicates habitation during the Elamite periods. The name of this village is said to be derived from “Mandana, mother of Cyrus.” It is said that this area, due to its very good climate and lushness, was the hunting ground of Cyrus's mother. This village is located in the Zagros mountain range, on the slope of the pristine and very beautiful nature of Mount Noor or Nil, which is covered with various plant species.
