Description

The castle, cave, and river of Ladiz became known as the Arbab Castle due to the residence of people with the family name Arbab. The construction time of this historical site dates back to the Parthian era, of which today only ruins remain as a magnificent relic. The Arbab Castle was built on rocky cliffs on the edge of the village of Ladiz; its foundation was made of large stones and adobe walls, and it has stood firmly for centuries!

The Ladiz hill castle leads to small cliffs on three sides. This castle was classified as a defensive fortress. It was one of the famous and official buildings of those times, and with the river flowing north of the castle, life in this village thrived. The Ladiz hill castle was registered on January 1, 2003, in the list of national monuments of Iran.
