Ghar Qaleh Joq
On the way to the cave, through the village's alley gardens, a natural spring gushes from the earth and offers coolness to the locals and tourists. This cave is carved by humans into the rocky cliffs of a mountain called Quzi Qeshlaq, at an elevation of about 28 to 30 meters above ground level.
On the cliff wall of Mount Quzi Qeshlaq, three close openings are visible which are considered the cave entrances. The castle's construction date, based on the type of structures, is believed to be from the pre-Islamic and Median era. To enter Ghar Qaleh Joq cave, rock climbing and mountaineering equipment are needed to reach the cave safely. After climbing the vertical cliff and reaching the cave entrance, you arrive at the main part of Ghar Qaleh Joq cave and a long corridor surrounded by 12 to 15 symmetrical rooms measuring 2 by 2 meters carved into the mountain rocks. In Qaleh Joq castle, get the cave address from locals and accompany guides.
