The Footprint of Prophet Khidr
On the slopes of the Akbarabad mountains, there is a place that has long been of interest to the local people and is famous as the Footprint of Prophet Khidr (peace be upon him). This footprint holds great significance among the locals. The architecture and features of the inner shrine—the innermost part of the shrine—are the meeting point of three massive stones that form the main shrine. These stones are considered signs of sanctity and spirituality in this place. The third stone is perpendicular to the Qibla direction and bears a carved mark of a hand. Inside this hand, the word "Allah" is also inscribed.
Despite their attractiveness and beauty, these carvings and marks lack a reliable document that specifies their age and the reason for these signs. This adds a kind of mystery and grandeur to this place and encourages pilgrims to reflect and contemplate their meaning.
