Six kilometers along the Firuzabad to Shiraz road, on the slope of a mountain overlooking the road, there is a lasting structure from the Sassanid era known as Qal'eh Dokhtar. This strong and large building dominates the entire area and was probably used during the Sassanid era for watch and protection of the first Sassanid capital in the city of Gor. Qal'eh Dokhtar consists of interconnected rooms and corridors, and the materials used in its construction are uncut stones, plaster, and sarooj. Among the sights of Fars province near Qal'eh Dokhtar, one can also mention the relief of victory and the coronation relief.
