Abbasabad Historical Complex
Located 9 kilometers from Behshahr, one of Iran's important historical buildings named Abbasabad is situated. Shah Abbas I during the Safavid era ordered the construction of this complex along with a garden, dam, lake, palace, and brick towers. A four-arched mansion placed in the middle of its lake is truly attractive and unique. The Abbasabad Historical Complex covers about 600 hectares and is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. There is no need to buy a ticket to visit the Abbasabad Historical Complex.
