Just by entering Shiraz, head to the Darb Shahzadeh neighborhood to find a collection of attractions before you, giving a fresh color to your tour in this city. In a corner of this neighborhood is the Vakil Mosque that draws you inside and opens a new window before your eyes. This mosque, also known as the Soltani Mosque, is a remaining work from the Zand era and was built by order of Karim Khan Zand.
The Vakil Mosque is adjacent to the Vakil Bazaar and Bathhouse, which together form the Vakil complex. The Vakil Mosque is located on the western side of the bazaar at the end of the swordsmiths' row and is about 100 meters away from the bathhouse. The large size of this building, along with the beauty and architectural principles used in this mosque, has made it one of Shiraz's popular buildings. The administration of this mosque is under the Shiraz Endowment and Charity Organization.
National registration: This monument has been listed in the national heritage register since July 9, 1932, with number 182.
Note: All three attractions are introduced here due to their proximity and were not uploaded separately on this site.
