Khosrow Tower is one of the tourist attractions of Sabzevar
The antiquity of Khosrow Tower, one of the tourist attractions of Sabzevar, dates back to the 6th century AH. The construction order of the Khosrow Tower was given by "Taj al-Dawla Abu al-Qasim ibn Saeed" during the Seljuk rule, around the year 505 AH. The beautiful tower of Sabzevar is about 38 meters high, and at its top, you can see diamond-shaped decorations and two lines of Kufic inscriptions. Khosrow Tower was one of the tallest minarets of its time and is recognized as one of the masterpieces of its era. As experts have indicated, the purpose of building this tower was to help caravans find their way along the Silk Road. The tower acted like a lighthouse in the heart of an endless desert, bringing hope to the hearts of the caravans.
