Sir Khun Khaf Protected Area

 The Sir Khun Protected Area is one of the most valuable natural regions of Iran, located in the southeast of Khaf County. This area, with its very high biodiversity, is the habitat of various animal and plant species.

Biodiversity: In the Sir Khun area, animal species such as mouflon, ewe, ibex, goat, deer, leopard, wolf, and various birds of prey live. Also, there is a diverse plant cover including wild pistachio trees, wild almond, tamarisk, and saltwort in this area.
