Description

The Hegmataneh Museum is one of the most famous and important tourist attractions in Hamadan, which after the discovery of the ancient site of Hegmataneh, became a place for preserving ancient artifacts and remains of Hegmataneh. This museum was opened in 1994. The objects in the Hegmataneh Museum can be divided into two categories: historical and Islamic. In this museum, you can see items such as various square bricks, stone capitals, different bowls, jugs and pots, various glassware, cups, clay coffins, and more, each belonging to a part of the history and fate of the ancestors.

The Hegmataneh Museum consists of different sections including the museum office, restoration workshop, photography workshop, library, and various historical buildings such as a church.
