Surian Brick Bridge
The Surian River, one of the famous rivers of Fars, has several bridges built over it due to frequent traffic on this route; one of these bridges is a brick bridge from the Safavid era. Historians estimate the construction of this bridge to be from the mid-7th to early 8th century AH; in some historical texts, this brick bridge is referred to as the Great Bridge. In the past, this bridge served as a communication link between the people of this city and the villagers of the southern part of this county. The materials used include gypsum stone, sarooj, and brick facade; the Great Bridge has one span and two bases with an octagonal arch, which the architects of that time built with beautiful and artistic features; this bridge is also considered one of the registered historical monuments of Surian.
