“Farsfaj Bridge” was built near the Shah Abbasi Caravanserai during the Safavid era. This bridge is about 60 meters long, eight meters wide, and has three water spans with pointed arches, with the middle span larger than the other two. Stone, brick, and sarooj mortar are the main materials used in the construction of this bridge. Currently, pedestrians use this bridge. Two small spans have been built on the bridge's piers, which, in addition to reducing pressure on the piers and saving materials, allow floodwaters to pass and reduce the destructive effects of floods on the bridge body. These piers have triangular cutwaters on the upstream side that resist strong water flow and direct the water towards the spans.
