Titi Caravanserai, Siyahkal, Deylaman

The Titi Caravanserai or Titi Caravanserai is one of the tourist attractions of Gilan Province in the beautiful city of Siahkal, which you will reach from the Siahkal-Deylaman road. Titi means blossom in the Gilaki language. There are various stories about this place, one of which states that this caravanserai was built by the order of Titi Khanum, the aunt of one of the Safavid kings. The Titi Caravanserai is about 600 years old and is a building made of river stones, constructed with bricks, plaster, and sarooj mortar.

This attraction has an octagonal entrance and also two porches around its octagonal hall; the construction of this caravanserai reflects a glimpse of the importance of the Siahkal passage and the strategic position of this city. There is no signboard on the way to this caravanserai; but do not worry, by asking the locals you can reach it. The beautiful space of this attraction makes it a visually pleasing environment for photography and one of the most famous sights of Siahkal. The caravanserai has no entrance fee and one of the most prominent weaknesses of this place is the lack of maintenance and neglect by the authorities.

This monument was registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites on December 3, 1996, with registration number 1784.
