Angeli Church of Hamadan

Angeli Church of Hamadan is one of the tourist attractions of Hamadan built during the Qajar era. The church building with simple architecture, sloped roof, and at the same time very beautiful, is very pleasing to the eye.

The windows of the building are wooden lattice which used to have colored glass in the past. This church is located inside the Ekbatan Hospital complex and is registered as one of Iran's national heritage sites. It is interesting to know that currently this church is used as the meeting hall of Ekbatan Hospital and is not open to visitors.
