Kehillat Hayim is one of the first synagogues and Jewish worship centers in the city of Tehran, built in 1913 in the Jewish district. The age of this synagogue is about 1 century and it is considered one of the most well-known religious places of faiths in Tehran. Of course, this synagogue is not only a religious place, but also visited as a tourist and recreational museum.
This synagogue has a very large and charming courtyard with a pond full of water and old, sturdy trees, creating the feeling and atmosphere of old and nostalgic houses upon entering.
