The Green Dome of Zavareh dates back to the late Seljuk period. This building is the tomb of Abunasr Ahmad Ali Zavare'i, one of the mystics of the early sixth century and the founder of the Grand Mosque of Zavareh. The Green Dome of Zavareh, registered as one of Iran's national monuments on 8 Bahman 1385 (January 28, 2007) with registration number 17032, is the third brick Seljuk structure after the Pamenar Mosque and the Grand Mosque of this city.
