The Shast Kalateh Waterfall, also known as Firuz Mahal, is considered one of the tourist attractions of Gorgan and is located in the Shast Kala forest, 22 kilometers southwest of Gorgan County. To reach this waterfall, you must pass through a dense forest. Along the way, you can observe various poisonous and non-poisonous mushrooms. The Shast Kalateh Waterfall was formed by the 43-kilometer Shast Kala River passing through valleys and forests of Mount Jozbandu. Of course, Shast Kalateh is not the only waterfall along this river, and you can also find other waterfalls such as Baran Kuh Waterfall.
