Arsalan Jazeb Tomb
This tomb, located near the route from Fariman to Nishapur and south of Mashhad, is the burial place of one of the famous commanders of the Ghaznavid era, Arsalan Jazeb. This commander was a fan of Ferdowsi, and the Ferdowsi tomb was built by his order.
The tomb building with its brick dome, Kufic decorations, and exquisite inscriptions is one of the masterpieces of Islamic and Buddhist architecture in the region. This building is not only architecturally valuable but also historically one of the most important relics of Razavi Khorasan.
