The scientific mausoleum of Kukherd, known as Dugonbadan Kukherd, is one of the historical sites in the western region of Hormozgan. This historical mausoleum, known among the locals as "Ziyarat," is one of the architectural masterpieces of "Haj Mohammad Sharif Memar," one of the famous architects of Bastak and Jahangiriyeh, and was built between 1149 and 1151 AH (equivalent to 1115 to 1117 solar calendar).
This historical complex is the mausoleum of "Haj Sheikh Abdulrahman Bozorg," "Qazi Haj Molla Esmail," and "Haj Molla Abdolvahid," three of the great and famous figures of Bastak and Jahangiriyeh.
These individuals were renowned in their time for their knowledge in science, jurisprudence, hadith, and wisdom.
This beautiful building has been restored several times by benefactors and the Kukherd Cultural Heritage Association. The Dugonbadan Kukherd complex was registered in the National Heritage List of Iran on 27 Bahman 1382 solar calendar.
