The Guged Citadel is one of the tourist attractions of Golpayegan, which after renovation while preserving the old architecture, was converted into a hotel. Of course, visiting the historical Guged Citadel without staying at the hotel is possible for the public, but a small entrance fee must be paid. It is a 400-year-old brick adobe structure. Historical places always have many stories to tell. This citadel was used as a caravanserai in the past because it was located on the Silk Road. Guged Citadel has 4 symmetrical towers on the four sides of the castle. The entrance door of the citadel is different for women and men. At that time, the larger door was called the men's door knocker and the smaller door the women's door knocker. The citadel is built in two floors and around it are rooms with wooden doors.
Currently, the citadel serves as a three-star hotel hosting domestic and foreign travelers. A coffee shop, restaurant, parking, restroom, and souvenir shops are some of the facilities of Guged Citadel.
