To visit the shrine of Imamzadeh Abolfatouh Soleiman ibn Musa ibn Jafar, you must go to the village of Vanshan. This shrine is one of Iran's national monuments. The shrine of Imamzadeh Abolfatouh was built during the Safavid era, approximately in the 10th century AH. Above the shrine, one of the sights of Golpayegan, a brick rectangular inscription can be seen. The inscription states that the Imamzadeh is a descendant of Musa, son of Jafar. The type of structure, the materials used, and the architectural style of the Imamzadeh Abolfatouh Vanshan building indicate its antiquity. The Imamzadeh building has a twelve-segment dome of the ribbed type.
Under the grille, a carved wooden chest is seen whose construction date is unknown.
The painting and calligraphy in Nastaliq script under the wooden ceiling inside the dome are the work of Master Mahmoud Najjar and Master Yousef Khansari. The old door of Imamzadeh Abolfatouh is also a masterpiece of carving from the era of Shah Tahmasp Safavid.
