Imamzadeh Seyyed Mohammad
In the city of Dolatabad and located in Seyyed Mohammad Park of this city, there is a shrine named Imamzadeh Seyyed Mohammad (a). According to the trusted narrators of the city, the lineage of this honorable Imamzadeh traces back to Hazrat Musa ibn Jafar (a). Until 1970, this building was made of adobe and clay, but due to deterioration, it was demolished and a new building replaced the old one. The current shrine was constructed again in 1981. This building covers an area of over 120 square meters. The double-layered turquoise dome of the Imamzadeh is 12 meters high from the floor. According to locals, this place was formerly the city's cemetery, which was converted into a park in the urban planning scheme, and the tomb of this noble Imamzadeh is now located at the end of the park.
