There is no precise information about the personality buried in the shrine. Some, considering the architectural style and its similarity to the mausoleums of the Marashi Sayyids in Sari county, have regarded the buried person as one of the Marashi Sayyids, which does not seem correct because among the Marashi family, there is no person named Ali Akbar who had a distinguished position to have such a magnificent mausoleum built for him.
According to our belief, the person buried in this mausoleum is Sayyid Ali Akbar ibn Hamza al-Asghar ibn Muhammad al-Bathani ibn Qasim ibn Hasan ibn Zayd ibn Imam Hasan (peace be upon him), the nephew of Imamzadeh Hamzeh Reza Hular, Hamzeh Asram, and Abdullah buried in Pain Kola. In the book Nuzhat al-Uyoun, after mentioning his noble lineage, it is written: his children were in Tabaristan.
