Imamzadeh Sultan Mohammad Taher is considered a descendant of Hazrat Imam Musa ibn Jafar (peace be upon them) who is buried in a village of the same name. The structure of this mausoleum, located on the outskirts of Babol city and on the road from Babol to Simorgh city, dates back to the year 875 AH. Given its antiquity, this building was registered as one of Iran's national monuments on January 5, 1932, with registration number 67.
