The beautiful shrine of this Imamzadeh is located near the city of Lushan, a part of Rudbar County, beside the Lushan-Bivazan road, and is highly regarded by the locals.
The previous building of the shrine, which was made of mud bricks and clay, was demolished in recent years and replaced with a magnificent structure that includes a porch, dome, and sanctuary. This building covers an area of about 550 square meters and is constructed from brick and cement. Its traditional dome closely resembles the dome of Imamzadeh Hashem, and the exterior facade is covered with metal cladding. The dome's height exceeds 4 meters, and its drum was designed with 12 windows for lighting, which apparently have been blocked and replaced with niches.
The shrine is rectangular in shape, with a porch measuring 4×15 meters in width and 5 meters in height on the south side, supported by several sturdy columns.
The lattice grille of the Imamzadeh is made of steel and iron, measuring 1×2 meters, protecting the tomb, and the area under the dome, the walls of the sanctuary, and the porch feature beautiful mirror work. This shrine has 14 rooms for pilgrims, sanitary facilities, and a spacious courtyard.
According to the locals, Imamzadeh Hamzeh is one of the descendants of Imam Musa Kazim (peace be upon him). However, there is no document available to confirm this claim.
