Description

Azini Wetland (Azini Creek) is part of the wetland complexes registered as the delta of the Gaz and Hara (Heyvi) rivers in the Ramsar sites list. Azini Wetland (Azin) is located in the south of Biaban rural district, a subdivision of Minab County, approximately 35 kilometers southwest of the city and port of Sirik. Considering the vast wetland area in this rural district, the rural population centers are generally located within a radius of 5 to 7 kilometers from this wetland, some of which include the villages of Ganari, Bazgard, Dapti, Garandehu, Gaz Pir, and Mehrgi.
