Tal Bakun is the name of a prehistoric site located near Takht-e Jamshid and is considered one of the sights of Marvdasht. This area was inhabited by humans between 4000 and 3500 BC. During excavations, pottery with beautiful designs and other ceramics were discovered in this region. The most important of these findings includes a swastika that was related to Aryan religions. Due to its historical value, Tal Bakun has been registered as number 189 in the list of national monuments of Iran.
