One of the most unique natural phenomena and sightseeing places in Qeshm, and not only Qeshm but also Iran, is the Hara Forest. The trees of the Hara forests grow in the salty waters of the sea. The intertwined roots of the Hara forest trees are resistant to the salinity of the water and expel salt from their leaves. When the sea water is high, the Hara forest trees go underwater, and when the sea water is low, the trees raise their heads above the water. If you are interested in bird watching, the forest emerging from the water is a place frequented by various birds. Birds such as herons, flamingos, pelicans, kingfishers, and more are abundant in this place.
