Lady Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her) in the year 201 AH, one year after Imam Reza (peace be upon him) entered Marv, set out for Khorasan, and when she reached Saveh, she became ill. Musa ibn Khazraj Ash'ari from the Ash'aris residing in Qom went to Saveh and brought her to Qom, providing her shelter in his house, and after some time Lady Masoumeh (peace be upon her) passed away. The body of Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her) was buried in a place known as Bagh-e Babolan.
The first dome over her grave was built by Zainab, one of the Alawite women, and this structure gained grandeur and splendor during the Safavid era. The first shrine's grille was made by Shah Tahmasp I. Today, the shrine of Lady Masoumeh (peace be upon her) has two courtyards: the Old Courtyard and the New Courtyard.
Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her), (died 201 AH / 816 AD) is the daughter of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
