Description

The Hosseinieh of Zavareh, which is considered one of the tourist attractions of Zavareh, is located in the old texture of the city and was built from the Safavid to the Qajar era. These two Hosseiniehs include open and covered sections that can be used in all four seasons of the year simultaneously with the mourning days of Muharram. These Hosseiniehs are 400 years old. The large Hosseinieh belongs to the Safavid era and is older than the small Hosseinieh. The building of the large Hosseinieh was originally one story and made of raw clay and mud, to which a floor was added during the Qajar era and its facade was brickwork. The placement of the small open Hosseiniehs next to the covered Hosseiniehs has created a new style in the architecture of religious and Islamic buildings. These two buildings are constructed as squares with a platform in the middle for Ta'zieh performances, and around all four buildings, large niches one meter high from the ground have been built for people to sit.
