The Boroujerdi House is a story of pure love
The historical buildings and structures of Kashan have the most beautiful Iranian architecture. One of the most attractive of them is the Boroujerdi House, which closely resembles the Tabatabaei House. Of course, behind this similarity is an interesting story. Mr. Boroujerdi's son falls in love with and is devoted to Mr. Tabatabaei's daughter and they go to propose. But Mr. Tabatabaei sets a condition that if they want his daughter, they must build a beautiful mansion like his own house for his beloved daughter, and this is how this beautiful building was constructed. These magnificent buildings have always been a place to attract Iranian and foreign tourists, dating back to the Qajar era. It is interesting to know that in these houses there are dome-shaped windcatchers which in the old days were known as "Kolāh Farangi".
