Description

The Masoudi House is a relic from the Qajar era. This historic house was built in two floors, with one main room on each floor and several subsidiary rooms on the sides, each ending in a small room used as a storage. The Shahneshin room is the most important part of this house, next to which there is an inscription showing the construction date of the building. The plasterwork, mirror work, and oil paintings featuring plant motifs and human figures are among the beauties of this house. On the upper margins of the walls of the Shahneshin room, among the plaster motifs, images of ancient Iranian kings from Ferdowsi's Shahnameh to the Qajar period have been created.
