The cultural, sports, and tourist village of Ganjnameh is one of the strongest tourism hubs in Iran and the Middle East, established in 2000 (1379 in the Iranian calendar).
This complex is one of the attractions and historical sites of Hamadan, popular among tourists due to its pleasant mountainous climate and various recreational and welfare facilities such as cable cars, sports sites, residential villas, restaurants, cafes, and more. However, the main reason for the importance of this village is the presence of the historical Ganjnameh inscriptions carved into one of the Alvand cliffs. These inscriptions, known since ancient times as one of the most famous sights of Hamadan, are actually tablets in Old Persian, Elamite, and Neo-Babylonian languages. These two inscriptions are about 2500 years old, one being the inscription of Darius the Great and the other the inscription of Xerxes. Attractions: Ganjnameh inscriptions, Ganjnameh waterfall, Ganjnameh cable car.
