Rabāt at the foot of Kang Mountain (Shah Abbasi Rabat)
Rabat means buildings beside the road that serve as caravanserais. The Rabat at the foot of Kang Mountain is one of the unique attractions of the village. This is because it is dug underground at the end of the Kang valley and its roof is level with the slope of the mountain. In ancient times, the road from Nishapur to Mashhad passed through this village and the Rabat at the foot of the mountain was a safe refuge for travelers.
The Rabat at the foot of Kang Mountain is also known as Shah Abbasi Rabat. The distance from this attraction to the village itself is about one and a half hours on foot. Therefore, bring suitable hiking and nature-walking shoes along with appropriate clothing and food.
